It will be done...., still going

All the quilting is now done. PHEW! On to my binding next. Planning on doing a faux piped binding that way I can sew onto the back and after flipping it to the front, will use my machine to finish the edge. Will show pictures tomorrow of some of my progress as well as share my perspectives I realized while making this quilt.

Quilting is not perfect and I did get some puckers in the back. Will have to focus better on my next large quilt that I plan on quilting on my DSM. Wish I could afford those long arm machines with the BSR and a stationary desk top.

Hi Jane - Looking forward to seeing the finished quilt. Love your sea themed quilting... If you are quilting block by block...you can use a pounce pad after making a stencil from paper - sewing the design with no thread in...you can get blue or white pawder for the pounce. I use it at times if I need to. Thank you for following my blog :)

I read your post and it reminded me of one I read awhile back that helped me love my DSM in a way that now I'm grateful for. I don't need a long arm to quilt!
