Progressing on the quilt

Am doing the detail quilting and am having fun. Here's some shots of what is what.

The smallest seahorse I did on the backside and now have some nubby like threads showing on the top. You can tell where I hesitated when changing my directions, am I going to rip these out? Heck NO!
When you look at seahorses they are cute but also have an armoured appearance and these extra thread piles will give it that structured apearance. anyhow, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Thanks to Dover Publications and tissue paper that I am thrilled to get these done so far.

By tonight, all the borders will be quilted. (I hope!)

The plan is to have a couple of sea themed items scattered along the borders similiar to the layout I showed several days ago and then do some quilting filler stitches throughout all around them to finish it. My personal deadline for the quilting is tonight. Will let you know how it goes.
