Yee gads!

Felt like I birthed another child! Here's a snap.

Just kidding but it surely felt like that! When my daughter and her family stopped by I actually pointed to this geode and told her to welcome her sibling to the family. Of course she smiled and said "your not right, you need help"!

I had great plans for this past weekend and passing 2 kidney stones was not on the agenda. I've never had problems like this before and I hope to never have it again. Since the holidays I have embraced a healthier lifestyle. Exercise, better diet choices,... you know the drill trying to live right, (I know boring but really essential especially since I'm tryikng to rid myself of diabetes). However, I really felt great because of doing it and it wasn't all pyschological either. I was more energetic than typical and was progressing with my organization, creativity and continuing with connections with friends and family. Then Whammo! What pain. I actually thought it was appendicitis because the pain was so acute and excrutiating. So hubs and I spent all of Saturday in the ER. Arrived at 1pm and didn't get back home until 9:30 pm. That place was a Zoo, I am amazed how people can work in such a high stress atmosphere without burning out. Then Sunday I started with a repeat of pain that I had n Saturday, I thought oh no another one, but at least this time I had some pain medication and I started drinking quarts of water. So much easier to pass that way than the first one.

Anyhow, now that it's behind me, I feel as if I was beaten up and then rolled over by a freight train, so I am taking it easy. Just counting the days until I can restart my engines.

OOH, what pain. The picture is amazing. Our son just had a similar experience. Everything I've ever heard lets me know I never want one!
