Here is Day 7, the last day this hop is going on.
Thanks Lana and Madame Samm! It's been a Hoot!
I ran across this recipe from Barefeet in the Kitchen so am placing it here for future reference.
homemade COUGH remedy (adapted from Good Food Matters)
2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar (Bragg's if available)
2 Tablespoons Honey - Local raw honey is best
2 Tablespoons Water
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Place all ingredients in a small jar and shake well to combine. Leave at room temperature for a few days or if needed longer then refrigerate. Shake well each time before use. The spices will not dissolve into the liquid. It will not be a thick syrup, it should remain watery. Take as needed.
Dosages for adults is about 1 Tablespoon and perhaps 1 teaspoon for children 5 years old and older. Use your discretion with children under 5 years of age.

I'll have to tuck that recipe away for the flu and cold season.
